A few years before we built our house here in southwest Orlando, we visited nearby Palm Lake, our families swimming and picnicking there - and several of us taking our first scuba dives in the clear water. The nearly deserted spring-fed lake was typical of the small, pristine bodies of water in the underdeveloped area.
.
No longer the case, I revisited Palm Lake earlier this week (3rd photo down) - a dozen and a half homes have been built on it's weed-choked shores.

1. Wow, look at Nana
2. I think Austin outweighed you and Roger
3. Everyone's getting ready for the big dive, and I'm piddling in the lake
Is that the little lake way out down a dirt road/path ?
