Toy Story

As I make progress on the slide digitizing project, I realize that I'll be "getting my life back" in the studio, and some changes I've been contemplating in the studio layout can be accomplished at the completion of this project. As is my habit (e.g., Nana's sewing room, the workshop and the studio/man cave), I like to grid out an area and configure the best layout by using scale cutouts of all items assigned for that area. Experience has taught me that it's much easier to move around little pieces of matboard than the actual items. The planning done for the present layout is shown above. One thing I've missed since it's removal is a utility sink, so I'll definitely include one when I update the layout.
.
In the meantime, back to the slide trays!
