Despite the sighting requests, despite the miles of tall, barbed wire topped fence, bears still continue to travel the "green" corridor up and down central Florida from the Ocala National Forest to the Wekiva Springs area.
Yesterday, while Nana was enjoying her 3 1/2 hour visit to the dentist's office, great grandma and I did some sightseeing along SR 46 between Sanford and Mount Plymouth.
