A PAPER TRAIL, BIBLICALLY SPEAKING

 My grandmother Clark's Birth Record was finally filed in September of 1941 (a month after I was born). Her older sister Ada was sworn as a witness.


Grandma Edith was the middle child, born in 1875,with five siblings. She, along with her brothers and sisters, lived well into the 20th Century.

**Birth records in the 19th Century often were derived from Bible records kept by parents, as was the case here
